James Margolis, Senior Partner; Environmental Resources Management (ERM)
James Margolis is a Senior Partner with ERM and a nationally recognized expert in environmental, health, safety and sustainability (EHS&S) governance and management systems.
Jimmy has helped numerous companies develop and implement EHS&S strategies, design and implement EHS&S organizations, develop and roll out corporate EHS&S policies and standards, define EHS&S metrics and set EHS&S goals, develop sustainability reports, become listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, conduct product lifecycle assessments, implement EHS&S information technology solutions, and develop more sustainable supply chains. During the course of his career, he has visited hundreds of industrial sites and developed and led hundreds of EHS&S management training courses, seminars and workshops. Jimmy also leads ERM's GRI-certified training partnership.
Prior to joining ERM in 2001, Jimmy spent 11 years with Arthur D. Little and six years with Deloitte. He started his career as an engineer at an oil refinery and petrochemical plant.
